SPA Hotel Essentuki

The architectural appearance of the hotel complex is based on the image of water ripples, which is reflected in the protruding edges of the volume. The effect is achieved by dividing the façade of the building into segments that rotate away from the main axis of the building and relative to each other.

The varying contour of the building gives a sense of dynamism, as well as maximising the number of rooms and balconies with the best views. To enhance the effect of dynamic lightness, the room floors are raised 6 metres off the ground and have terraces cantilevered relative to the ground floor. The chosen bronze-coloured finishes reinterpret and complement the "antique" style of the city's resorts and interact with the sun with their glare. Thanks to its stepped silhouette, the building complements the existing topography of the lake while claiming to be a new landmark.
